Bull House, Lewes – now open to the public

Bull House 92 High St., Lewes

This 15th-century timber-framed house was once home to the revolutionary pamphleteer Tom Paine (as well as hosting a rather good restaurant in the 1960s) and has been opened to the public by the Sussex Archaeological Society, who also run the nearby Norman castle.
